6 x Lost Penny Little Mischief Rose’
As we have grown to like the Montepulciano ‘Monty’, we thought it would be fun to make a Rose’ out of it. But we also wanted to use our other favourite grape variety – Grenache. These two varieties work so well together, we decided to make our first Rose’. The Little Mischief Rose’ is not only the perfect wine to enjoy on a summer’s day, but but any time of the year.

Vintage Notes
With a dryer winter and spring, bud burst started in September, three weeks earlier than the year before. With a dry spring came clear and cold nights resulting in some frost damage through parts of the vineyard. February, March and April remained dry.
Winemaker Notes
Colour: Light, bright pink.
Nose: Watermelon, light strawberry and rose water.
Palate: A fine and elegant structure with some crispness.
63% Montepulciano and 37% Grenache give this wine a lot of interest. No residual sugar but lots of fruit flavour giving the palate roundness and fullness with a crisp finish. This wine is ideal for the warmer months but has a fullness that can be enjoyed in the winter by a warm fire.
